Wheelhouse Personnel
Pilot: Must be licensed by the USCG and be responsible for the safe navigation of the vessel and safety of the crew, barges and their cargo. The pilot is also responsible for enforcing company policies.
Barge Line Pilot: Must be licensed by the USCG and be responsible for the safe navigation of the vessel and safety of the crew, barges and their cargo. Must have previous experience as heavy tow pilot with the ability to handle at least a fifteen-barge tow.
Trip Pilot: Must have the same qualification as Pilot and Barge line Pilot but the work schedule is on an "as needed basis with no benefits."

Position Requirements:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Willingness to be away from home 28 days per trip
• Must pass drug screen
• Hold a valid drivers license
• Show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Must live in or near the geographical operating areas of the inland waterways system and the intra coastal systems
• Ability to work closely with other crewmembers
• Have the ability to enter narrow openings. (Round barge wing tank opening is 18 inches in diameter, oblong opening is 15 x 23 inches.)
• Be at least 18 years of age
